Bevaplast BV, founded in 1960, evolved to one of the leading suppliers of medical and sport medical products, such as plasters, wound dressings, first aid kits, braces and tapes. As partner of the European retail chains we develop and deliver unique store brands and private label concepts. Bevaplast works closely together with a global network of BSCI certified production sites and therefore we are able to fulfil our customer wishes. The headquarter is in Vaassen, the Netherlands, where we work with 25 motivated colleagues. In Germany there is a sales office as well.

Rapid Aid, founded in 1975, has over four decades of experience in exceeding our customers expectations. We boast continuous creativity, professionalism and expansion over our history, and have treated the world's bumps and bruises millions of times.

Rapid Aid has grown exponentially to work across multiple continents and with the largest global distributors and retailers. Rapid Aid now occupies two state-of-the-art, wholly-owned manufacturing facilities in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and Danyang, Jiangsu, China, with distribution capabilities spanning three continents. Alpine Hot & Cold B.V.

Joint Venture Alpine Hot & Cold B.V., based on extraordinary market opportunities, ambition & trust Bevaplast and Rapid Aid decided to join hands and start working together in a newly created joint venture Alpine Hot & Cold B.V.. The purpose is to develop the European market for hot and cold therapy products with a newly created brand based on the long term history of both founding companies. Alpine Hot & Cold will be focused on hospital markets across Europe and supports Bevaplast to develop the retail market in Europe.

To realize a successful business and our ambitious goals we are searching for a talented

Business Development Manager

In this role you will develop the new joint venture. You are an energetic self-starter, entrepreneurial and motivated to achieve the following goals:
  • identify business opportunities and approaches to maintain, build and expand the company's business in existing and target markets, to achieve defined sales goals and objectives
  • develop and implement a sales strategy, tactics, sales plans, category management consultancy and profit targets for the brand to acquire new businesses and shall contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization

Characteristics of our ideal candidate are:
  • Over 10 years of experience in selling medical devices / personal care products in hospital channel
  • Experience in international small scale organizations and building new business
  • Age preferred between 35 and 45 years
  • Languages: French mothertonque, English required. German is nice to have.
  • Willingness to travel around Europe
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starting, analytical and emphatic and an excellent communicator

You will report to the managing director of Bevaplast. Alpine Hot & Cold offers an excellent remuneration package.
