Ihre Aufgaben

  • Fire Safety lead for our client’s high speed product platform which includes:

1.    Creating/maintaining the standardization of the fire safety scope which includes creating generic concept and documentation, extending to different variants

2.    Project Lead:

  • a.    Fire Safety and Evacuation Requirements management
  • b.    Maintaining / update of Fire Safety and Evacuation concept
  • c.    Checking of supplier deliverables i.e. UNIFE Fire Certificate Inventory List, fire safety test reports
  • d.    Preliminary Design Review project phases finalization: Performance Report finalization, Design Review attendance
  • e.    Detailed Design Review project phases finalization: Performance Report, Design Review attendance
  • f.     Creating/maintaining of (draft) reports/documents required for homologation: Fire Safety type test specification, FS Test Report, FS Validation Report, Running Capability (RC) Report (Cat B train) / Risk Assessment Report, Authorisation report, TSI Shell Report

3.    Supporting bids by creating/maintaining required bid documents e.g. Bid Risk Assessment Reports

4.    Supporting our customer’s platforms

Ihr Profil

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in fire safety and evacuation domain within Railway business
  • Customer orientation, engagement, team working, results oriented and skills in problems solving
  • Experience in railway technologies: basic knowledge of train architectures, subsystems and items used within a train
  • Experience with the European Fire Safety standards: EN 45545-2, EN50553, TSI Loc&Pass, NFPA 130
  • Experience or sound understanding of defining, structuring and developing a rolling stock fire safety concept
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to use the technical knowledge in the support of other departments
  • Experience of applying DOORS requirements management database tool
  • Experience in working on rolling stock bids desirable
  • Experience of converting customer's, normative and legal explicit and implicit technical and functional requirements into technical/functional specifications to be used by design teams
