Inside Sales Account Representative (m/f/d)

Skills and abilities

  • Sales and sales support for non-targeted accounts (smaller to mid-sized diagnostics and pharmaceutical companies)
  • Tasks include request and quotation generation, project coordination & tracking for transactional business, including working with electronic customer procurement platforms
  • Promote and sell the entire product and service portfolio, primarily, clinical biospecimens (e.g. tissue and blood plasma) and laboratory services (e.g. immunohistochemistry, phosphoprotein analyses) for biomarker analysis and drug development
  • Sales support for the European sales team on identifying novel service opportunities, as well as post-sale customer service activities, e.g. creating sales reports / complaint management.
  • Works closely with European Head of Sales and sales team in selected territories
  • Strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility
  • Demonstrate a strong team and service orientation in a flexible work environment
  • Work independently, with a focus on priorities and deadlines
  • Combine customer orientation with entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Good scientific and technical understanding of analytical technologies in the field of cancer diagnostics and development
  • Ambition to reach and exceed challenging goals and targets
  • Territory: Assigned European Region

Education and/or experience

  • B.S. or M.S. in bioscience. Knowledge in molecular biology, cell biology, cancer-related research experience desirable
  • 2 years+ experience in customer service, project management, and/or sales and marketing
  • Strong computer application skills in project management or utilizing Customer-Relationship-Management platforms
  • Experience in biobanking or contract research services a plus
  • Experience in pharmaceutical / diagnostics, CRO, and/or oncology industry preferred
  • Experience with interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English and German a must
