Within the framework of the ribosome biogenesis research in the Max Planck Research group of Dr. Joachim Kopka we offer a postdoctoral position for analysis of plant ribosome heterogeneity probing temperature transitions. The position will be in the Max Planck Research group of Dr. J. Kopka at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology in Potsdam-Golm.
The PostDoctoral position is available from 01.04.2019 to 31.03.2022.
We look for a highly interested, organized, mobile and team-minded person with enthusiasm for and interest in basic research with applied aspects. We expect a person highly capable of interactive studies with the framework of a multidisciplinary research unit. Solid German and/or English language skills are required.
We look for but do not require prior experience in one or more of the following aspects:
- Molecular physiology or biotechnology of plants
- Experimental and analytical technologies of proteome and/or transcriptome analysis
- Statistical and/or bioinformatics data evaluation methods

Payment follows the rules for federal employees in Germany. Salary is paid according to salary group E13 (TVöD Bund). The position will offer opportunities for developing personal skills.
