The research group of Dr. André Nadler is looking for a Technical Assistant (CTA or equivalent) (m/f/d) for laboratory organization in synthetic chemistry.

The group of André Nadler is looking for a chemical technical assistant (CTA). The Nadler lab focuses on the development of chemical tools to monitor lipid localization, to modulate the intracellular concentration of distinct lipid species, and to capture lipid-protein interactions. A combination of approaches from organic chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology are employed to ensure the capability to address a given problem from as many angles as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for chemical synthesis and laboratory organization.

Main responsibilities

•     Multi-step chemical synthesis;
•     Techniques related to purification and characterisation of organic compounds (FC, HPLC, Mass spectrometry);
•     Lab organisation, documentation, ordering, safety documentation, equipment maintenance

Essential qualifications

•     Research technician degree (CTA) or comparable qualification;
•     Flexibility, team spirit, organizational and interpersonal skills;
•     Competence in both English and German languages.

Desirable qualities

•     Ideally, experience in both small molecule and peptide synthesis;
•     Knowledge of biochemical analytical methods;
•     Experience in cell culture protocols
