The Department of Correlated Matter at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in Dresden offers a full time Postdoctoral position (m/f/d).
Requirements
- Solid understanding of quantum physics
- Comprehensive background in experimental low temperature physics
- Characterization of materials with respect to transport, thermodynamic and magnetic properties
- Analysis of experimental results
- Expertise in spectroscopic measurements and/or Scanning Probe Microscopy is of advantage
Qualifications and skills
- University degree and PhD in physics
- Ability to work in a team
- Background in electronic correlations, magnetic and quantum phenomena
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to write scientific texts
